Adiós Lucy.
Hoy murió la mujer que cuando niña sirvió de inspiración para una de las canciones más emblemáticas de los Beatles: Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds.
Aunque para muchos esta canción era tan sólo una oda al LSD (y de ahí el porqué de sus inciales) la historia contada por John Lennon era cierta: Lucy existía y era amiguita de su primer hijo Julian.
Un día Julian la dibujó mientras estaba en el colegio y cuando Lennon lo pasó a buscar le mostró el dibujo describiéndole que ésa era “Lucy in the sky with Diamonds”.
La inspiración de padre e hijo, Lucy O’Donnell, murió hoy después de una larga lucha contra la enfermedad inmunológica lupus.

El nuevo documental de director Davis Guggenheim (el mismo de “An Inconvenient Truth”) se centra en el encuentro de 3 estrellas de la guitarra: Jimmy Page, The Edge y Jack White… Como una suerte de iconoclasta, pero más relajado, al menos así parece en el trailer y también lo que se nota es que la cinematografía es de lujo…
